FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Let me answer some of your burning questions. As a wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of attending quite a few weddings, and these are some of the most common questions asked by my couples.

  • I am a creative story teller, I love to express myself behind the lens. I will document your day and all of the epic craziness as it all unfolds. I look for raw and genuine emotion, those candid special moments that often get missed, but mean the most. I am very relaxed and easy going, I like to have a laugh and a bit of fun but I also know when to put my head down and get things done. I am not the kind of photographer who will be posing you in cringy and awkward positions, I will give you a bit of guidance and make sure you are comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, there are real smiles and genuine laughs. I want to tell your story and make sure the photos are a true reflection of you. Let me create memories for you, your friends and family for many years to come.

  • Of course! I am based in the Manawatu, with strong roots in the Wairarapa. Absolutely happy to travel at an extra cost. Get in touch and let's see what we can work out.

  • Absolutely, I love meeting my couples. Whether that is at a pre-wedding/engagement shoot or just for a coffee. I want to know more about you both and your day. If it is easier, we can also arrange a zoom meeting and catch up that way. FYI I enjoy a flat white!

  • When you use the contact form, I will receive an email and reach out to you within 24 hours. During peak season, (November - April) it could be a more like 48 hours. I will always respond, so if I have not replied to your email, DM me on social media. Or check your spam folder, sometimes emails can end up in there. I know! Annoying :(

  • I have worked with a second shooter at a lot of the weddings I have been to. It definitely allows for more coverage of the day, even allowing us to separate at the beginning of the day to capture the preparation aspect at the same time. I have photographed many on my own and am 100% confident and capable to deliver a high standard of work you would be expecting. So, really it comes down to what best fits your needs. If you would like a second shooter, let me know and I can factor that in when quoting prices.

  • I would be more than happy to work with you to lock in another date. The inital 30% deposit would be held for the new date. The deposit is non-refundable, so if you need to cancel, I would be happy to use the value of your deposit towards another type of shoot whether that be engagement, family photos or another kind of shoot.

  • For weddings, my packages start as low as $2850. You can find more info about what I have on offer here. Or if you have a budget in mind, let me know and let's figure something out.

    All prices are inclusive of GST.

  • I will supply 10+ sneak peek photos to you within 48 hours of the wedding day. The full gallery I will aim to deliver within 8 weeks, during peak season (November - April) this could potentially be more like 10-12 weeks. I personally edit all your images, and this can take some time. It will be worth the wait though!

  • Through your online gallery you have options for ordering prints, these are supplied by Queensberry. All you have to do is place an order, they will print the photos and send them directly to you. There are many options including frames or canvas prints. I also offer options for designing and printing wedding albums, again through Queensberry. If you are looking for an easy and elegant way to display your photos to friends and family, wedding albums are the way to go and well worth the investment.

  • Personally, I love black and white photos. I would shoot an enitre wedding in black and white if I could. However, when editing your photos I carefully select photos that work best in black in white, that show emotion and raw feeling or help remove distraction from background elements. In a typical wedding, about 10-15% of the images will be in black and white.

  • Amazing! Once you have been in contact, I will send you a quote with everything you have asked about. Should you accept the quote, there is a 30% deposit required within 7 days of accepting. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the wedding day. I look forward to working with you :)
